Game Table

In November 2023, a family friend living in Dallas reached out to me with a special request to create a custom Game Table for a beloved family member, which turned out to be a wonderfully rewarding project for me. After some comprehensive research and thoughtful discussion, we ultimately decided on a generously sized 4-foot by 6-foot table design that features a recessed area specifically for playing "Dungeons & Dragons," along with a compatible tabletop insert for easy card games. The client expressed a desire for built-in trays to conveniently hold dice and cards, along with cupholders to keep drinks within easy reach during gameplay. I chose to work with stunning Rainbow and Thermalized Poplar for this project—using Rainbow wood for its strikingly vibrant appearance and applying a charcoal finish on the Thermalized Poplar to create a beautiful contrast.
